Fish Mint is not actually a mint at all. It is quite attractive with heart shaped leaves and white flowers.  It is used in Asian cuisine, either fresh or cooked.  The roots which are long and slender are used as a vegetable for stir fries.  It has a unique flavour, slightly fishy with a hint of coriander and ginger to try my best to describe it.  It does thrive in water, so could be invasive, so it may be worth considering containing in a pot to minimise its spread.  You could also use it to make a tea.

What our customers say...

"I have purchased herbs from Kitchen Garden Plant centre and the quality of the plants are unparalleled. Such a fantastic selection to choose from and all grown on their family nursery from scratch. Packaging is great and the advice and guidance offered by this knowledgable team is simply the best. 10/10 would recommend and would only by my plants from this lovely team."

"These lovely folk had the unusual rosemary we had been searching for in lovely growth and good price. Feel more than confident to mail order from them in future too. Also, their Rau Ram (vietnamese coriander) has lovely subtle flavour that we'd never tried before ."
