About Kitchen Garden Plant Centre
Kitchen Garden Plant Centre is a small family business. Growing is completed on the edge of the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire by Neil Jones and Niamh Jones and our small team.
Live Plants - Perishable Goods Exemption
As live plants are perishable goods, they are exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations. We cannot accept returns of live plants once delivered.
Non-Perishable Items
Non-perishable items (such as pots, tools, and garden accessories) may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unused and in original condition.
Note: Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to a remedy if goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.
Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked service as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
Condition of Returns: Items must be returned in their original condition with all packaging intact. Customers are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. We reserve the right to refuse a refund or issue a partial refund if items are returned damaged, used, or not in their original packaging.
Cancellations Before Dispatch
You have the right to cancel your order at any time before the plants are packaged and dispatched. Please contact us immediately by phone or email. Once plants have been packaged or collected by our delivery partner, cancellation is not possible, and any return would be at your own expense.
Damaged or Faulty Goods
If your plants or other items arrive damaged, faulty, or are not as described, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery by phone or email with photographs of the issue. We cannot accept liability for issues reported more than 24 hours after delivery. We will assess each case and offer a replacement or refund where appropriate.
How to Request a Return
To request a return for non-perishable items, please contact us at enquiries@kitchengardenplantcentre.co.uk with your order number and the items you wish to return. We will provide you with return instructions and our return address.
Refund Processing
Should we need to cancel your order for any reason, we will request a refund via Shopify or PayPal and advise you immediately. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving any returned items to your original payment method. Refunds may take up to 10 days to credit your account from the date of refund request.
