Sage has grey-green, felty foliage and Lilac-blue flowers. Sage is used in stuffings and Italian cooking among others. Medicinally Sage is an astringent, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory herb.

  • Hardy evergreen perennial
  • Height 50-80cm
  • Branched stems with grey-green wrinkled velvety leaves and mauve flowers
  • Enjoys a sunny position
  • Thrives in moist sandy soil, but does well in well drained soils
  • Replace when woody in approx 4-7 years.
  • Pot size - 9cm recyclable pot
