Dill is an annual herb with erect stems, fine bluish green leaves, umbels yellow flowers. Dill is used for pickling, for salads, with fish, for sauces. Both the leaves and seeds can be used. Medicinally used to improve digestion.

- Branching blue/green foliage and umbels of aromatic blooms of yellow flowers in Summer
- Sunny sheltered position. Can be grown indoors
- Fertile moist and well drained soil
- Avoid close proximity to fennel, as cross pollination can occur and flavours muddle.
