French Tarragon is a clump forming perennial, with lance mid-green leaves. Well drained poor soil in full sun, drought tolerant. Height 80cm. French Tarragon is ideal for chicken and egg dishes, sauces, salad dressings, Béarnaise sauce and herb-infused mustards. Also known as Estragon, this French Tarragon is the true chef’s favourite tarragon and the option referred to in cook books.
Medicinally for indigestion or as a diuretic.
