Russian Tarragon is more vigorous and hardier than its French counterpart. It has loose panicles of insignificant yellowish white flower heads in late summer. Plant in well drained soil in full sun. Height 1m. It has a different flavour profile to French Tarragons. Used as a culinary spice in salads, pickling cucumbers, and canning vegetables and is the primary flavouring for the popular Georgian carbonated drink, Tarhun.
