Samphire holds a mild salty flavour and can be used as you would asparagus.  Also great with fish and freshly cut in a salad. It grows wild in costal marshlands and so grows particularly well in sandy soil.  Samphire is high in vitamin C. Grows best with a saline solution using sea salt.

We use natural integrated pest management systems on the nursery and a peat free compost which is sourced and produced in the U.K and only a stones throw away.
