Stalked Bulbine is a perennial. Orange and yellow star shaped spikes of flowers over fleshy succulent spiked green leaves. A drought tolerant plant with a long flowering time, certainly May- September and perhaps beyond. Surviving to -5degrees celsius if roots are kept dry. Used as an alternative to Aloe vera as a skin burn salve. This plant is also known as Burn Jelly Plant.

- Rhizomatous clump forming with orange and yellow flower spikes over green fleshy spikes of leaves.
- Prefers full sun to part shade
- Grows best in moist soils but copes well with drought.
- Flowers May-September and throughout the year.
