Tomato 'Baby Boomer' (Solanum lycopersicum) is a prolific cherry tomato perfect for small spaces, patios, or hanging baskets. It produces an abundance of sweet, 1-inch bright red fruits continuously until the first frost. Prefers fertile, well-drained soil in a sheltered, sunny spot. Height 60-90cm. The fruit is highly snackable with a classic tomato flavour, ideal for salads or eating straight from the vine. Excellent for beginner gardeners due to its compact habit and impressive yields of up to 300 tomatoes per plant.

At Kitchen Garden Plant Centre, we pride ourselves on a seamless journey from our Gloucestershire nursery to your door. We provide tracked UK-wide delivery, ensuring the same expert care for our local neighbours in Newent as we do for our customers across the country.

Our shipping rates are tiered by order value to ensure you get the best price:

  • Orders up to £15: £11.99
  • Orders £15 – £19.99: £8.99
  • Orders £20 – £59.99: £5.99

  • Highlands, Islands & UK Offshore: Dispatched via Royal Mail.

    Includes: Scottish Highlands, Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, and Channel Islands.

Free Local Collection (Newent, GL18)
Prefer to collect? We offer a free Click & Collect service from our Newent nursery. As we are a working specialist herb nursery, visits and collections are strictly by appointment only, so we recommend collection during the following windows:

  • Collection Days: Mondays & Wednesdays
  • Collection Times: 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM

How it works:
Simply select 'Local Pickup' at checkout. We will then contact you to confirm when your order is picked and ready for collection, and which of these dates and times is most convenient for you to meet the growers and collect your plants.
